This unit has five functional centers staffed with Dentists, Dental Nurses, Dental Assistants and Clerical Assistants.

The centers are as follows:
· Scarborough Health Center
· Belle Garden Health Center
· Charlotteville Health Center
· Canaan Health Center
· Plymouth Health Center

The purpose of the Dental Unit is to provide Dental Care to the population through Dental Health Education, Lectures examinations, fillings, extractions and prophylactic treatments. The public can call or come into any of the above centers for information, to make appointments or to access treatment.

The Dental Nurses treat children from two and a half years to twelve years.

Prior to treatment, parents are required to complete a medical history and consent form for each child.
