One of the world’s most comprehensive and widely-used databases of biomedical information. It contains citations for over nine million articles from over 5,000 biomedical journals (and some books) published worldwide, and is searchable by a special terminology (MESH). The citations represent publications from 1950 (some earlier) to date, and most include a substantive abstract. Since 1995, citations have also been linked via Internet to their fulltext counterparts in over 700 journals (some available free). HIRC provides free copies of non fulltext articles on request.

A bibliographic database, based on MEDLINE, containing citations for selected published and unpublished (theses, technical reports, etc.) healthcare literature by and about the English-speaking countries in the Caribbean. The citation records are created from documents collected and stored at libraries in the participating countries. HIRC provides copies of documents on request (free or at cost).
