PSYCHIATRIC UNIT

The department provides the following services to the Adults of Tobago:

Clinic:
Friday 8.00 am - 12.00 pm by appointment.
New patients are seen at other times, by appointment - 639-2552 Ext.130.
The clerk assigned to the department schedules appointments.

In-patients
Admissions are done via the Accident & Emergency Department or via the Psychiatric Clinic.
There are legal documents for admission to the ward that must be signed by the client (voluntary admission) or by doctors and relatives (urgent admission and medically recommended admission).

VISITING DAILY: 12.00 - 1.00 pm and 3.00 - 6.00 pm

Day Care
Occupational therapy for in and out patients, daily.
Clients must be referred from the ward or the clinic.
